Barbara Pollastri has been working as freelance conference interpreter since 2000, after attending the post-graduation Conference Interpretation Training Course with a JICS/SCIC study bursary (Joint Interpreting and Conference Service) in 2000-2001.
Bárbara is an active member of the APIC (Portuguese Association of Conference Interpreters), the APS (Portuguese Association of the Deaf) and of the ANAPI-LG (Nacional and Professional Association of Interpreting – Sign Language). She regularly works in international conferences, including television context and Performing Arts as Sign Language Interpreter.
