Andreas Melo graduated in History at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil. Andreas has always been passionate about videogame design. In 2014, he came to Portugal to obtain a second graduate degree, this time in Videogames and Multimedia Apps at Lusófona University, and co-founded the company Planetfall Studios with Fernando Soares. Currently, Andreas is working at CICANT – Lusófona University as a game designer on the project GBL4deaf – Game-Based Learning for Deaf Students (LISBOA-01-0145-FEDER-032022) funded by FCT and LISBOA2020. He focused on the challenge of creating an accessible and entertaining game with educational contents integrated in playability.
